Tim Pike is the Englishman behind the Invisible Bordeaux blog which documents some of the lesser-known places, people and stories in Bordeaux.
He
will be presenting the Shuman Show, a unique mix of words and music
inspired by the life and career of the late Mort Shuman, the renowned
American songwriter who penned some of the most recognizable melodies of
the 20th century before he himself became a successful solo artist in
France.
The
show provides a fascinating and fun reminder of how many Mort Shuman
songs have become part of our collective soundtrack, and uncovers a
surprising link between the great man and the city of Bordeaux!
