One cyclist, one bicycle for two and 8,000 kilometers across Latin America. Colombia to Argentina.
I'm Simon from the UK and I will be talking about my recent six month cycling trip across Latin America from Colombia to Argentina by tandem bicycle (bike for two people).
Along the route I invited strangers to help pedal my tandem through tropical storms, deserts, over the Andes mountains, high altitude plateaus and everything in-between.
I will attempt to condense six months of physical effort, sleeping rough, incredible encounters, 8,000km of constantly changing culture and landscapes into a short talk, giving a snapshot of what life was like on the bike!
